Intelligent Voice Announcement System – i.e. about IVR
Interactive Voice Response is a voice information system automated by telephone sets. It allows for interactive handling of callers, being at the same time a self-service and fast channel of access to information or services for users. It manifests itself in the message heard after establishing the connection. Previously, it is recorded in such a way as to allow callers to select one of the menu options in the DTMF tone variant or by means of speech recognition.

Application areas

The system is used to handle a large number of telephone connections, therefore it is most often used in the so-called Call Center. It is also used in:

telephone banking,
telemarketing,
private clinics (medical, dental, cosmetic),
hotel reservations,
servicing loyalty programs,
voting on television entertainment programs,
customer service by mobile operators,
and many other areas.
The intelligent system of announcements is primarily used for data verification and collection, information presentation and electronic booking.
